A guided introduction to cold water for newcomers, or those wanting to refresh their knowledge of cold water swimming
Been thinking about continuing to swim during the colder months ? Or maybe you just want to refresh your knowledge .
In this workshop we will talk about the positive effects of cold water swimming on your body and mind , we will also give you information on what to do before and after your swim , what happens to the body when you are in the water and what signs to look out for to keep yourself safe. We will also look at swim kit.
we will then head down to the lake for a guided dip or swim with the option to use the sauna before we head back to the cafe for a brew and any last questions .
The workshop is run by Nix who is a trained cold water specialist.
Good to know
Cancel 2 days or more before your session and your booking credit will be returned:
- Pass: Your session will be added back to your pass.
- Allowance: Your allowance will be reset.
- Card payment: The amount paid will be added as account credit.
If you cancel less than 2 days before your session, your place will be released, but no credit or session will be returned.
